Every October, hardcore muskie nuts make Vermilion Dam Lodge a must stop on their fall schedule to take advantage of our fall get-together for muskie enthusiasts. It’s become so popular, in fact, that we’ve been forced to limit the attendees to 90 anglers. So if you’re interested in attending, make sure to make your reservations well in advance.
The Muskie Outing is not so much a school, as an opportunity for anglers of all different skill/experiences to share information, learn from each other and have a great weekend of fishing. Many of Lake Vermilion’s best muskie guides will be in attendance, including legendary muskie historian Larry Ramsell himself. Nightly seminars, raffles and great meals top off this non-competitive fishing event.
