Do you have a Bar
We do not have a Bar...there is a Bar/Grill called Wolf Bay Lodge located 1/4 mile away accessible by boat or car.

Does the lodge sell gas?
We sell  Prem.. non-Oxy gas ...Gas sales are all point of sale...we accept all credit cards..exception is American Express.

Does the resort have enough boat docks for the event?
Tthe resort has 50 boat/slip/dock spots which would provide enough spots for all the Vermilion Dam Lodge guests during the event..we are making provisions for mooring parking/shuttle for people that want to come over by boat to attend the scheduled events...we encourage people to drive over to the event if not staying at the Lodge.

Trailer parking
We have two large lots for trailer parking...in addition, we are setting up locations for trailers/boats..in the event people want to pull their boats at night vs leave in the water.

Car Parking
We will have designed areas for parking cars/trucks of members coming over to attend the events and for additional parking for resort guests that have extra cars.

Tackle in the area
In the town of the Cook is 'Lake Vermilion Trading Company'  they stock Musky tackle. Our Lodge store we stock a limited supply of musky tackle. Spring Bay Resort and Muskego Resort both have a large selection of musky tackle.

Boat Repair
Closest Marina is Timbuktu Marine...they are a authorized Yamaha and Suzuki Dealer...they are located 3 miles by boat from the resort.  Shamrock Marine is located 9 miles from the resort by boat..they service Mercury motors. 77 Marine located near the town of Tower ( east end of the lake...only accessible by car ...30 miles from resort 0 also service Mercury and Suzuki. Aronson Marine located in Tower ...( 40 miles by car or 18 miles by boat from the Lodge) service Honda,and OMC motors.

Trolling motor repair
We will have Scott Erickson from Electric Fisherman at the resort the entire week of the event. Scott runs an authorized repair center for Minn Kota trolling motors...he will have parts on hand and available for Minn Kota trolling motor problems during the Challenge. If you have a motor guide problem...77 Marine in Tower is authorized dealer for Motor guide Trolling motors ( located 30 miles from the resort)

Groceries
The lodge has a limited selection of Groceries. ..In the town of Cook is 'Zups' ..22 miles from the resort...they have a full sized groceries store. In addition, in Virginia ( you will drive past on the way up) is Super One...they have the best overall
prices and selection of groceries.

Ice
The lodge sells 7 lb bags of cubed ice.
